Coronavirus Important Notice
Church family, I have stayed in contact with our deacons, secretary, and connections ministry team concerning the Coronavirus situation.
It appears, for now, we will suspend our Sunday gatherings and our Wednesday night programs for at least the next 2-3 weeks. This was not an easy decision but everyone agreed it is best for the greater good of our most vulnerable in FBC. With that said, I will continue to preach and make those messages available to you via our website and Facebook.
We can answer questions on how to receive this content. We plan to stream our worship service each Sunday morning at 11am We encourage you to continue to give and will help you understand how to do that online or you can drop that by the Church during the week.
We want to do this so we can help those who may be in need during this time. Let’s trust God with the budget. He is our provision in the lean times as well as the prosperous. We have people (including myself) who are willing to check on our elderly and supply any need they may have. Please let the Church know if you have a need. These are uncertain times but we serve an unchangeable God.
This week I realized how much I love serving you and gathering with you weekly. I pray this is short term and we can all join together soon but, for now, we need to listen to those who are experts in the field of medicine and our local government officials.
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”
I love you all, Pastor Greg
This site exists to help you know more about us and more about what we value as a congregation of believers in Jesus Christ. We exist to bring glory to God both corporately and individually and we strive to do this through various means (learning, singing, praying, preaching, and fellowship). When we leave the Church on Sunday we spend our week among the lost and the broken and pray for an opportunity to bring them to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ. If we can help you in that journey feel free to contact us for more information.
